Anse Marron Hiking Adventure Tour
Join me and my team at Sunny Trail Guide for an unforgettable hiking tour!
The tour starts early morning. The scenic route will take us approximately 2 hours, navigating rocky terrain until we reach Anse Marron. Here, we will spend 2 hours at this stunning beach, featuring natural pools enclosed by magnificent granite rocks, creating a safe bathing spot throughout the year. Snorkeling opportunities will depend on sea conditions. A delicious fruit platter will be provided for lunch.
Following this, we will continue walking for another 2 hours, heading towards Anse Source d’Argent, where the tour concludes on the beach. From there, you have the option to relax on the beach or take a leisurely walk back towards the helicopter landing site. Please note that the entrance fee (150 SCR) is not included in the tour price.
Along the way we can see endemic Seychelles species as the Seychelles Paradise Flycatcher, palm spiders, several species of geckos and plants like Cinnamon, Indian Mulberry and Pandanus and many more.
Please note that we do the tour the opposite direction, when there is high tide in the afternoon.
Condition and important information
- The tour is a moderate hiking tour – NOT a walk
- Participants should be capable of walking for 2 hours without extended breaks. The terrain includes traversing granite rocks, forest paths, and the reef during low tide.
- The rental fee for bicycles is not included. If you require a bicycle to reach the meeting point, you can rent one for 10 euros per person for the entire day. The bicycle can be used after the tour as well.
- Please note: Entrance fee for L’Union Estate Park (150 SCR, 10 €) is not included.
- The duration of the tour is approximately 6-7 hours, which includes a 2-hour beach stay.
- Please bring 2 l of water per person. Additionally, please bring sunscreen, mosquito spray, a waterproof bag for your phone and camera, and a lightweight towel.
- Suitable footwear such as sports shoes and water shoes (not flip flops) are required for walking in the sea.
- The tour is suitable for adults and children from 6 years of age. Pregnant women are not permitted due to safety reasons.
Please note that I will provide a brief briefing (approximately 5 minutes) on your arrival day. I reserve the right to cancel the tour if there are concerns about your physical condition or in case of injuries. Weather conditions on the day of the tour may also lead to cancellation.
